“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8–9
Salvation is not about what you have done for God.
Jesus said, “I never knew you: depart from me…” to those who did many wonderful works in His name (Matthew 7:21–23).
We do not know Him by our works, but by placing our trust in Him.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…” Romans 10:9–10
You can believe there is a God, call yourself a Christian, and still miss the Gospel.
Salvation is not found in religion or works. It is found by placing your trust in Jesus Christ alone.
Most Christians don’t spend time in God’s Word daily.
If you want to know Him, you have to know His Word.
It strengthens your faith, renews your mind, and directs your life.
